Al centro figura dell'Italia Turrita, lungo il perimetro si riconoscono Cristoforo Colombo, Galileo Galilei, Dante, Petrarca, Michelangelo, Raffaello, Machiavelli (?), Beccaria (?)

Sorretto da colonna centrale e quattro sostegni curvilinei collegati da una crociera sagomata.

The top is decorated with medallions and reserves depicting Renaissance figures and floral or foliate motifs. At the centre is the figure of Italia Turrita; along the perimeter appear Christopher Columbus, Galileo Galilei, Dante, Petrarch, Michelangelo, Raphael, Machiavelli (?), Beccaria (?)

Supported by a central column and four curved legs joined by a shaped cross-stretcher.
