A cash delivery turns into a robbery in this 388-piece set with 4 minifigures. The bank, armoured transport vehicle and police car create a compact urban scene, while the thief’s getaway motorcycle sets up the chase through the surrounding streets.
This release has an interesting retail history: in many countries it was distributed as an exclusive and omitted from the general consumer catalogue, although it remained available through LEGO Shop at Home. That made it easier to overlook among the more widely advertised City releases of 2011. Now retired, this sealed example offers collectors a chance to add a distinctive bank building and its accompanying crime story to their town.
