L'importante cornice conteneva molto probabilmente un'immagine mariana (Madonna del Rosario ?) e fungeva da piccolo altare, atto alla devozione privata. In basso si notano due fanciulli che pregano accompagnati da due angeli festanti. Tra l'immagine sacra centrale (oggi mancante) e le figure in basso, vi sono tre cherubini in volo tra le nubi. Al centro, ai lati dell'immagine centrale, insistono San Domenico a sinistra e Santa Caterina da Siena a destra, sostenuti dal basso tra le nuvole da due cherubini. Nella parte superiore tra angeli e cherubini spicca l'immagine di Dio e dello Spirito Santo.

This important frame most likely contained an image of the Virgin Mary (Our Lady of the Rosary?) and served as a small altar for private worship. At the bottom, two children are shown praying, accompanied by two joyful angels. Between the central sacred image (now missing) and the figures below, three cherubs are flying among the clouds. In the centre, on either side of the central image, are St Dominic on the left and St Catherine of Siena on the right, supported from below among the clouds by two cherubs. At the top, between the angels and cherubs, stands the image of God and the Holy Spirit.
