Il manichino ha una struttura lignea articolata in due parti: il volto e il busto, e la parte inferiore formata da assi verticali affiancate a tronco di cono (apribile sul davanti), utile a dare il volume dell'abito che doveva vestirla. Le braccia sono snodabili all'altezza della spalla e dell'avambraccio. Le mani, dalla loro postura, pare portassero un fiore o uno scettro (mano destra), mentre l'altra rivolta col palmo verso l'alto sorreggeva o un oggetto (cesto ?) o la statua di Gesù Bambino, se questa fosse stata adibita a rappresentare la Vergine Maria.

The mannequin has a wooden structure divided into two parts: the face and torso, and the lower part formed by vertical boards flanked by a truncated cone (which can be opened at the front), useful for giving volume to the dress that was to be worn. The arms are articulated at the shoulder and forearm. The hands, from their posture, appear to have been holding a flower or a sceptre (right hand), while the other, with the palm facing upwards, held either an object (a basket?) or the statue of the Baby Jesus, if it was used to represent the Virgin Mary.
