L'attribuzione al maestro VBL trova riscontro in una serie di pannelli (appartenente ad una collezione privata) con profili di imperatori su fondo dorato con panoplie policrome, uno dei quali reca la sigla VBL, che dovevano provenire da un piccolo stipo. La provenienza napoletana è dettata da una notevole vicinanza stilistica del maestro VBL con Vincenzo Gesualdo come indicato da González-Palacios, 1993, vol. I, pag. 134

Manifattura Ferniani, Faenza, Paolo Benini (attr) 1780-1800. Coppia di tazze con piattini in maiolica, decoro dipinto in policromia articolato su un forte rosa ''porpora'', con motivo neoclassico che vede al centro un capriccio di rovine architettoniche, cippi, tronchi di colonne, ruderi e urne che compongono una sorta di piramide su una zolla di terreno. Il bordo esterno è orlato in giallo (cm 8x5x13) (difetti e minimi restauri)
