Avvassena è un’artista multidisciplinare con sede a Milano. Curiosità e propensione all’ascolto danno vita alla sua inarrestabile ed eclettica creatività, che si esprime in opere d’arte di molteplici livelli visivi e comunicativi. La sua pratica artistica si basa sul desiderio di andare oltre la superficie della società, per portare alla luce realtà nascoste o inascoltate. Al centro della sua ricerca vi sono le relazioni e i rapporti che tessono la nostra esistenza: il rapporto con sé stessi, spesso ipocrita e conflittuale, quello con il micronucleo che ci circonda, nella sua duplice natura di nido e gabbia, ed il ruolo di ciascuno all’interno della grande comunità umana, dove la simbiosi che ci lega l’uno all’altro contrasta con la solitudine egocentrica dei nostri tempi. La multidisciplinarietà e la sperimentazione orientano il suo processo artistico, che combina pittura, scultura, incisione e installazioni, capaci di nascondere e svelare messaggi grazie all’interazione con diversi spettri luminosi e con lo spazio circostante.

Avvassena is a multidisciplinary artist based in Milan. Curiosity and a propensity to listen give life to her unstoppable and eclectic creativity, which is expressed in artworks of multiple visual and communicative levels. His artistic practice is based on the desire to go beyond the surface of society, to bring to light hidden or unheard realities. At the centre of his research are the relationships and relations that weave our existence: the relationship with the self, often hypocritical and conflicting, the relationship with the micro-nucleus that surrounds us, in its dual nature of nest and cage, and the role of each person within the greater human community, where the symbiosis that binds us to one another contrasts with the egocentric loneliness of our times. Multidisciplinarity and experimentation guide his artistic process, which combines painting, sculpture, engraving and installations, capable of concealing and revealing messages through interaction with different light spectrums and the surrounding space.

L’opera riflette sul significato della nostra identità e su come essa sia in costante interazione dinamica e creativa con gli altri. La prova della nostra individualità unica è determinata dalle molteplici persone che incontriamo durante la vita, l’immutabilità dell'impronta digitale è sovvertita dai volti mutevoli che sono riflessi in noi.

The work:

IDENTITIES is a series of real fingerprints, taken from different people encountered on the street and then transferred onto a mirrored surface.

The work reflects on the meaning of our identity and how it is in constant dynamic and creative interaction with others. The evidence of our unique individuality is determined by the many people we meet throughout our lives, the immutability of the fingerprint is subverted by the changing faces that are reflected in us.

Matteo Mandelli, in arte YOU, è un artista performativo che esprime la sua immaginazione più profonda attraverso le sue opere, creando un regno che ancora non esiste. Ispirato agli anni Ottanta e al movimento spazialista, l'incontro con i lavori del maestro dei tagli, Lucio Fontana, è stato determinante. Mandelli apre finestre su orizzonti invisibili, sdoganando tabù attraverso una ricerca che lo porta a girare il mondo e dare voce agli ultimi. Alcune delle sue opere sono state esposte ad Hong Kong, Milano e a Venezia presso il Decentral Art Pavilion in parallelo con la Biennale di Venezia.

Matteo Mandelli, aka YOU, is a performance artist who expresses his deepest imagination through his works, creating a realm that does not yet exist. Inspired by the 1980s and the Spatialist movement, his encounter with the works of the master of cuts, Lucio Fontana, was decisive. Mandelli opens windows onto invisible horizons, clearing taboos through research that leads him to travel the world and give voice to the last. Some of his works have been exhibited in Hong Kong, Milan and in Venice at the Decentral Art Pavilion in parallel with the Venice Biennale.

Questa produzione artistica vuole rendere omaggio alla bellezza senza tempo, al talento senza pari e all'influenza della donna conosciuta come La Divina.

Ogni dettaglio vuole catturare l'essenza del talento artistico e del carisma della protagonista. Il ritratto vuole irradiare lo spettatore con lo stesso magnetismo accattivante che l'ha resa una sensazione operistica per generazioni. Bizzarro è un 3D e motion designer di Roma. Appassionato di arte tradizionale e digitale, ed ispirato dall’ambiente architettonico ed artistico romano, ha fatto della sua sensibilità sulla condizione sociale una motivazione artistica, a volte surreale, a volte vuota e scarna. Bizzarro è un giovane artista e spesso si riconnette con il proprio vissuto da bambino. Proprio quel bambino che nessuno voleva perché era considerato strano, una condizione che lo spingeva a restare in silenzio in disparte, sfruttando questo tempo per indagare nell'animo degli altri, senza bisogno di chiedere. Ma è anche quello stesso bambino che ha imparato a camminare e a scoprire il mondo con curiosità.

Bizzarro is a 3D and motion designer based in Rome. Passionate about traditional and digital art and inspired by the architectural and artistic environment of Rome, he has turned his sensitivity to social conditions into an artistic motivation, sometimes surreal, sometimes empty and naked. Bizzarro is a young artist and often recalls his own experience as a child. The same child that no one wanted because he was considered strange, a condition that led him to remain silent in the background, using this time to explore the souls of others without having to ask. But he is also the same child who learned to walk and discover the world with curiosity.

Instances è una rappresentazione del concetto degli stati delle emozioni. La figura centrale, che sembra essere una donna, appare come se stesse esplorando o liberando una serie di maschere che fluttuano sopra di lei. Il fatto che le maschere siano sospese e controllate da una mano esterna indica che le nostre emozioni sono spesso influenzate da forze esterne o che possono essere cambiate e scambiate, non appartenendo in modo permanente a noi stessi. L'opera esplora l'idea che le emozioni possono essere separate dal sé personale e osservate da una prospettiva esterna, suggerendo che esse fluttuano nella nostra esperienza collettiva, piuttosto che essere proprietà esclusiva dell'individuo. L'uso del surrealismo enfatizza questa dissociazione, invitando lo spettatore a riflettere sulla natura fluida e a volte effimera delle emozioni umane.

The work:

Instances is a representation of the concept of emotional states. The central figure, who appears to be a woman, appears to be exploring or releasing a series of masks suspended above her. The fact that the masks are suspended and controlled by an external hand suggests that our emotions are often influenced by external forces, or that they can be changed and exchanged and are not permanently ours. The work explores the idea that emotions can be separated from the personal self and observed from an external perspective, suggesting that they float in our collective experience rather than being the exclusive property of the individual. The use of surrealism emphasises this dissociation and invites the viewer to reflect on the fluid and sometimes ephemeral nature of human emotion.

Pitmarels, pioniere della tecnica Sticking Detach, attraverso la fruizione degli stickers come medium principale della sua produzione, crea immagini che pongono al centro del suo lavoro il concetto di falsa apparenza. Le sue opere, infatti, possono e devono essere lette cambiando continuamente prospettiva. Partendo da una visione d’insieme, dove l’opera si mostra nella sua interezza, si arriva ad una visione più ristretta dove emergono tutti i dettagli che la costituiscono. Il concetto di falsa apparenza, approfonditamente studiato, riflette la presenza pervasiva di questa tematica nella vita quotidiana. L’artista sceglie l’adesivo come forma espressiva e personale cifra stilistica, diventando il suo pennello, la sua tela e il suo colore.

Adriano Lombardo nato a Milano il 24 aprile 1990, laureato con lode all'Accademia di Belle Arti di Brera a Milano, si distingue come un artista visivo che esplora con profondità le interazioni tra uomo, tecnologia e ambiente. Le sue opere, quali Interconnection e Sincronie Cerebrali , rappresentano fusioni innovative tra arte e scienza, offrendo esperienze coinvolgenti e all'avanguardia.. Pitmarels, a pioneer of the Sticking Detach technique, uses stickers as the main medium of his production to create images that place the concept of false appearance at the centre of his work. His works, in fact, can and must be read by constantly changing perspective. Starting from an overall view, where the work is shown in its entirety, one arrives at a narrower view where all the details that constitute it emerge. The concept of false appearances, studied in depth, reflects the pervasive presence of this theme in everyday life. The artist chooses the sticker as his form of expression and personal stylistic signature, becoming his brush, his canvas and his colour.

Adriano Lombardo was born in Milan on 24 April 1990 and graduated with honours from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He stands out as a visual artist who deeply explores the interactions between man, technology and the environment. His works, such as 'Interconnection' and 'Sincronie Cerebrali', represent innovative fusions of art and science, offering immersive, state-of-the-art experiences. His artistic research offers a unique perspective on the complex interactions that make up reality, continuing to inspire and challenge audiences with significant examples of contemporary artistic innovation.

This is Not Caravaggio racchiude tutto il processo di sperimentazione dell’artista. Gli stickers che compongono ogni suo lavoro rimandano immediatamente al simbolo della Chiquita, ma una volta osservata l’opera da vicino si scopre il vero adesivo, privo di identità, dove si legge la scritta Caravaggio. L’artista fruisce di una provocazione consapevole, mediante la quale ha voluto rappresentare Davide con la testa di Golia (Giovanni Lanfranco) sebbene da lontano l’opera appare come se fosse un quadro di Caravaggio. Osservando l’immagine più da vicino appare una costellazione di adesivi che alimentano una ricercata illusione. Al contempo, sebbene la scritta all’interno di ogni singolo adesivo sia la medesima, i soggetti presenti al suo interno variano, con l’intento di invitare lo spettatore a porsi delle domande e a creare un individuale percorso estetico ed interiore.

Fake Machine nasce dalla collaborazione dei due artisti Pitmarels e Adriano Lombardo che hanno sentito la necessità di indagare il passato mediante una chiave futurista. Partendo dal concetto di falsa apparenza di Pitmarels e dalla rivisitazione delle iconografie del passato attraverso l'uso dello sticker, si arriva alla creazione di un soggetto che assume le sembianze di un cyborg all'interno di un contesto reale quanto fantascientifico. L'opera invita lo spettatore a tuffarsi in una dimensione ricca di pathos e pone delle forti riflessioni sul labile confine tra uomo e macchina, fisico e digitale, realtà e apparenza.

Painting:

This is Not Caravaggio encapsulates the artist's entire process of experimentation. The stickers that make up each of his works immediately refer to the Chiquita symbol, but once the work is observed up close, one discovers the real sticker, devoid of identity, where the words Caravaggio can be read. The artist uses a conscious provocation, by which he wanted to represent David with the head of Goliath (Giovanni Lanfranco), although from a distance the work appears as if it were a Caravaggio painting. Observing the image more closely, a constellation of stickers appears, feeding a deliberate illusion. At the same time, although the writing inside each sticker is the same, the subjects within it vary, with the intention of inviting the viewer to ask questions and create an individual aesthetic and inner journey.

Fake Machine is the result of a collaboration between two artists, Pitmarels and Adriano Lombardo, who felt the need to explore the past through a futuristic key. Starting from Pitmarels' concept of false appearances and revisiting the iconographies of the past through the use of stickers, they arrive at the creation of a subject that takes on the appearance of a cyborg in a context that is as real as it is sci-fi. The work invites the viewer to plunge into a dimension rich in pathos and poses strong reflections on the blurred boundaries between man and machine, physical and digital, reality and appearance.
