Imponente Bibbia tedesca stampata a Norimberga nel XVII secolo e riccamente illustrata da numerosi ritratti e mappe.
Folio (425 x 275mm). Antiporta incisa in rame di Johann Du¨rr da Christian Richter all'Antico Testamento e incisa da Troschel da Richter all'inizio del Nuovo, frontespizio in rosso e nero con vignetta xilografica, ritratto a piena pagina eseguito da Jacob Sandrart, testo entro cornice xilografica, numerose illustrazioni a piena pagina, tavole con ritratti e alcune belle mappe a doppia pagina (restauri ai margini dell'antiporta e del frontespizio e alle ultime due carte). Pelle coeva su assi di legno, tagli dorati e decorati (reindorsata preservando parte del dorso originale, gravi difetti). Non è stato possibile trovare un'accurata collazione e per questo motivo il lotto si vende non passibile di storno.

Folio (425 x 275mm). Engraved frontispiece by Johann Dürr from Christian Richter to the Old Testament and engraved by Troschel from Richter at the beginning of the New, title in red and black with woodcut vignette, full-page portrait by Jacob Sandrart, text in woodcut border, numerous full-page illustrations, plates with portraits and some fine double-page maps (restorations at the edges of the frontispiece, on title and to the last two leaves). Contemporary calf on wooden boards, gilt and decorated edges (rebacked preserving part of the original spine, somewhat worn). Because it wasn't possible to find an accurate collation the lot is sold not subject to return.
