Dal modello di Benvenuto Cellini, "Perseo con la testa di Medusa", scultura in serpentino verde a tutto tondo, poggiante su basamento in alabastro con caproni tra volute fogliate e mascheroni, quattro divinità greche in marmo a tutto tondo inserite in nicchie intervallate da busti di cariatidi a rilievo su base in marmo di forma quadrata, pannello frontale scolpito con scena raffigurante Perseo che libera Andromeda (h. tot cm 245) (difetti, rotture e restauri)
La scultura realizzata dal Cellini tra il 1545-1554 presenta Perseo, figlio di Zeus e Danae, colto nel momento del trionfo dopo aver decapitato Medusa. L'eroe calpesta il corpo esanime della Gorgone mentre ne solleva la testa mozzata con la mano sinistra.

The sculpture, originally executed by Cellini between 1545-1554, represents Perseus, son of Zeus and Danae, at the moment of triumph after decapitating Medusa. The hero treads upon the lifeless body of the Gorgon while lifting her severed head with his left hand.
