Lotto 556 Trofeo in argento "Cornwall Air Training Corps, Swimming Trophy presented by Flt N.Macmillan M.C.A.F.C.", corpo costolato con bordo decorato a ghirlande vegetali con fiori, base circolare con profilo a motivi vegetali concatenati, coperchio tornito con presa a trottola. La coppa fu destinata al Cornwall Air Training Corps, organizzazione giovanile istituita nel 1941 per l'addestramento aeronautico pre-militare dei cadetti della Royal Air Force. Il trofeo fu donato dal Flight Lieutenant N. Macmillan, mentre sul retro sono incisi i reparti vincitori delle edizioni del 1944 e 1945, rispettivamente il 197 (Devonport High School) Squadron e il 1900 (St. Ives) Flight.

A.F.C.", fluted body with rim decorated with foliate garlands and flowers, circular base with border of interlaced foliate motifs, turned cover with spinning-top finial. Silversmiths mark rubbed. London, 1913 (g 600) (h. 26 cm) (defects).
The cup was intended for the Cornwall Air Training Corps, a youth organisation established in 1941 for the pre-military aviation training of Royal Air Force cadets. The trophy was donated by Flight Lieutenant N. Macmillan, while the reverse is engraved with the winning units of the 1944 and 1945 editions, respectively 197 (Devonport High School) Squadron and 1900 (St. Ives) Flight -
