L. Caninius Gallus, moneyer. AVGVSTVS Bare head of Augustus to r.; Rv L·CANINIVS·GALLVS·III·VIR Bearded barbarian kneeling r., wearing a cloak and offering up a vexillum. RIC 416; Cohen 383. Extremely fine.

Youthful, bare head r.; CAESAR below,; all within oak wreath; Rv. Candelabrum, ornamented with rams' heads; all within a floral wreath entwined with two bucrania and three pateras; AVG – VST across fields. RIC I 540; RSC 2 (Caius Caesar). Slight porosity, otherwise about extremely fine.
