AVGVST[I] – [S POR OST C] Bird's-eye view of the harbour of Ostia: at the top, pharos surmounted by statue of Neptune l.; at the bottom, reclining figure of Tiber l.; to l., crescent-shaped pier with porticoM to r., crescent-shaped row of breakwaters; withing the central harbour, six ships. RIC 183 var. (bust); Cohen 40 var. Riverine patina with red hues on the reverse. Good very fine. Very rare.
