Black evening dress, Second Empire style (1854-1870). The upper part is made of silk taffeta and embellished with a large tulle and lace flounce, the same used for the skirt. This stunning dress, from a private collection, was part of an exhibition dedicated to Valentino and Yves Saint Laurent at the Mazzucchelli Museums in Brescia.
