The portrait of the famous general and english politician is facing left. Arthur Wellesley, 1st duke of Wellington (1769-1852) is mostly famous for his victory against Napoleon during the Waterloo Battle. The Tassie glass impression, of light amethyst colour is mounted in a silver ring with dark patina. Wear marks.
