Georges Mohasseb / Studio Manda, Inspired by the city nightscape, Urban is a table lamp, built from a combination of industrial materials as a tribute to what defines the cities we live in. The base is a brute concrete square cast topped with hand-placed staples sculpted and con- nected together to create the Urban form. Urban sits beautifully as a brutalist artis- tic statement piece. When the light is on, it passes through the negative spaces between the overlapped and staked metal cartridges, recreating the city nightscape.
