The main decoration is arranged on one side and presents a dyionisiac theme. A dancing maenad moves towards left, holding a patera and a thyrsus. She is looking a man behind her, who is naked, with a coat draped aroud his arms and floreal wreath on his head. He holds a cista and a thyrsus too. On the other side, two draped youths fronting each other, with a rod and a votive box; an altar between them. The accessory decoration consists of a laurel branch which runs above the rim, a palmette over the handle and a ribbon of meanders on the lower section. Intact. Provenance: English private collection; formerly in the collection of Dr. W.M., Schweinfurt 1970s - 1980s.
