Edizione in 4to illustrata da 630 tavole incise in rame, molte delle quali ripiegate, che illustrano carte geografiche, vedute, fauna, flora e animali di questo incantevole viaggio riccamente illustrato attorno al mondo.
20 (di 25) volumi, 4to (256 x 203mm). Ritratto inciso in rame in antiporta, frontespizi in rosso e nero, testatine incise in rame con scene di luoghi esotici e iniziali in legno, 630 tavole incise in rame e grandi carte geografiche, molte più volte ripiegate (alcune occasionali bruniture, più marcate al vol. VI dove vi è anche una tavola staccata, alcune fioriture). Piena pelle coeva, titoli decorati in oro (difetti, più evidenti in alcuni volumi e alle giunture). I volumi sono stati controllati e le tavole contate, ma si vendono come non passibili di storno in quanto il conteggio delle tavole differisce in alcune copie esaminate. The 4to edition illustrated by 630 engraved plates, many folding, showing numerous maps, views, flora, fauna and animals of this richly illustrated trip around the world.
20 (of 25) volumes, 4to (256 x 203mm). Engraved portrait as frontispiece, tites in red and black, engraved headpieces with fine illustrations, and initials, 630 engraved plates, many folding and of large size (some occasional browning, heavier in vol. VI which also has a detached plate, some occasional light spotting). Contemporary calf, gilt spines (some wear, heavier in some of the volumes and at joints). The volumes have been collated and the plates counted but the work is sold not subject to return as the number of plates may vary from copy to copy. (20)
