Mosca: L'Imprimerie d'Auguste Semen, 1824.Prima edizione di questa guida dettagliata di Mosca con alcune belle tavole litografiche. De Levau fu segretario della Società Imperiale dei Naturalisti di Mosca e conosceva personalmente la città russa. Nei 12 capitoli ne descrive la storia, la topografia, il commercio, i monumenti e le istituzioni corredando il tutto da dati statistici dettagliati. Nel settimo capitolo descrive le collezioni private e le biblioteche inclusa quella del Principe Michel Galitzin proprietario di una Bibbia di Gutenberg.8vo (236 x 150mm). Occhiello, antiporta incisa in rame, 4 tabelle ripiegate e 7 tavole litografiche rappresentanti monumenti della città (fioriture diffuse e alcuni tarli al margine interno tra le pp. 345-356). Lecointe de Laveau, a French entomologist, was secretary of the Imperial Society of Naturalists of Moscow and had a first-hand knowledge of the city. In 12 chapters he describes Moscow's history, topography, commerce, monuments, and institutions, with (folding) tables providing valuable statistic data. The seventh chapter contains details on public and private art collections and libraries, including the library of Prince Michel Galitzin, who owned a Gutenberg Bible.8vo (236 x 150mm).
