Scrittoio "bonheur du jour" con inginocchiatoio lastronato e filettato in legni di varie essenze, piano di scrittura ribaltabile sopra un cassetto, alzata ad un'anta scorrevole tra quattro diversi tiretti, piano in marmo bianco incassato, gambe filettate unite da piano imbottito e borchiato ribaltabile. Torino, fine secolo XVIII (cm 81x115x52) (difetti e rotture)

A "bonheur du jour" writing desk with an integrated prie-dieu (kneeler), veneered and inlaid with various wood species. It features a drop-front writing surface over a single drawer, a top section with a sliding door flanked by four small drawers, and an inset white marble top. The inlaid legs are joined by a hinged, upholstered, and studded kneeling platform. Turin, late 18th century (81 x 115 x 52 cm) (defects and damages).
