La coppa fu assegnata quale premio dalla Ballaugh Fur, Feather & Produce Society, associazione dell'Isola di Man dedicata all'allevamento amatoriale e alle esposizioni di avicoli, piccoli animali e prodotti agricoli locali. Il trofeo era destinato al miglior esemplare di Wyandotte, una delle razze avicole più apprezzate nelle esposizioni britanniche del XX secolo. L'incisione cita l'Onchan Show, manifestazione organizzata nel villaggio di Onchan, anch'essa sull'Isola di Man, dove le società "Fur, Feather & Produce" premiavano le migliori razze avicole secondo gli standard espositivi dell'epoca.

The cup was awarded as a prize by the Ballaugh Fur, Feather & Produce Society, an Isle of Man association dedicated to amateur breeding and exhibitions of poultry, small animals and local agricultural produce. The trophy was intended for the best Wyandotte specimen, one of the most highly regarded poultry breeds in British exhibitions during the 20th century. The engraving refers to the Onchan Show, an event organised in the village of Onchan, also on the Isle of Man, where Fur, Feather & Produce societies awarded prizes for the finest poultry breeds according to the exhibition standards of the period.
