La Manchester Agricultural Society, istituita nel 1805, fu una delle prime società agricole dell'Inghilterra nord-occidentale dedicate al miglioramento dell'allevamento e delle tecniche agricole. The Manchester Agricultural Society, established in 1805, was one of the earliest agricultural societies in north-west England dedicated to the improvement of livestock breeding and farming techniques. It organised annual exhibitions at which cash prizes and prestigious silver trophies were awarded to the finest examples of livestock.
