L AELIVS CAESAR Bare head of Aelius to right. Rv. TR POT COS II Fortuna standing left, holding rudder in her right hand and cornucopiae in her left, her head turned to right toward Spes, standing right, head to left, holding flower in her right hand and raising skirt with her left. RIC 1054; Cohen 60. Very rare. Beautiful glossy dark patina. Exceptional portrait struck in high relief. Good extremely fine. Among the most wonderful portraits of Aelius on the market.
