Antique silver plated necklace set with faceted old cut rough diamonds. And 7 possibly African oval cut rubies. The diamonds from this necklace were originally from an earlier piece of jewelry (Victorian/Gregorian period.) And were reused again in the mid 20th century (approximately 50s-60s.) The diamond settings are closed at the back. This model necklace was popular in the West but also in India. It may also come from India.
Length necklace: 50-54 cm.
The necklace is yellow gold plated, hallmark 925 is present.

Quality of diamonds varies greatly from P to SI and the color varies from F to N.
Fluorescence: 2 diamonds show strong fluorescence.
