Biography: Giulio Limongelli can be qualified as a "Master of the Workshop", to underline his background as a 360 degrees Artesan as a photographer as well as printer. HAPAX is the pseudonym of an Italian photographer and visual artist born in Rome in 1984. The name comes from hapax legomenon — a term in linguistics for a word that appears only once in a text — and reflects the core principle of his practice: every image is an unrepeatable event, a singular encounter between the photographer, a place, and a quality of light that will never occur again in the same way.
 
His work is built around slow, solitary travel. He moves through landscapes and urban peripheries with no predetermined subject, guided by an attentiveness to surfaces, textures, and the tension between natural and man-made environments. The resulting images are not documents of places but traces of perceptual states — what it felt like to stand in a particular spot at a particular moment.
 
His projects span multiple countries and climates — from the Mediterranean coast to Central European winters, from North African Medinas to South Asian temples — yet share a consistent visual identity: muted tonal palettes interrupted by sudden chromatic tension, natural light, and compositions that hover between abstraction and documentary precision.
 
HAPAX is represented by Image in Progress (Rome) for his fine art limited editions. All prints are produced as signed editions on archival fine art paper.

Weegee, pseudonimo di Arthur Fellig, è stato uno dei più importanti fotografi americani del XX secolo, noto per le sue immagini dirette e spesso crude della vita urbana e della società newyorkese. Le sue fotografie, caratterizzate da forti contrasti e da un uso drammatico della luce artificiale, documentano scene urbane con un linguaggio immediato e quasi cinematografico, contribuendo a definire l’estetica della fotografia documentaria moderna.

Elliott Grieshofer è un fotografo nato in Austria e basato a Roma. Susana Galbis è una fotografa con sede a Valencia, la cui ricerca indaga il rapporto tra natura e umanità, tra il visibile e ciò che è appena percepibile. Il suo lavoro nasce da un processo intuitivo fondato su tempo e osservazione, sviluppandosi attraverso progetti che esplorano una dimensione simbolica e contemplativa.
Combinando processi analogici e sperimentazione digitale, Galbis costruisce immagini in cui texture, luce e atmosfera assumono un ruolo centrale nella narrazione visiva. Le sue opere non mirano a spiegare, ma a evocare, creando spazi sospesi e aperti all’interpretazione.
L’opera "The Void and the Nude" indaga il contrasto tra la figura umana e il vuoto, costruendo una narrazione visiva in cui il corpo diventa elemento di tensione e misura dello spazio. L’immagine si sviluppa attraverso una composizione minimale e una forte attenzione alla luce, elementi che contribuiscono a creare un’atmosfera sospesa e introspettiva.
