Edmé Samson (Parigi 1810-1891) aprì una fabbrica di porcellana a Parigi nel 1845, che rimase attiva fino al 1980. Specializzata nell’imitazione di prototipi antichi (Meissen, Sèvres, porcellana cinese, ecc.), utilizzando il marchio "S" o l’evidente contraffazione dei marchi dei modelli imitati.
