Known locally as khik bhalad, this object is part of devotional offerings dedicated to the goddess Chao Mae Tubtim, the deity of fertility and generation. Objects of this nature were kept near informal shrines or placed in propitious locations with the purpose of attracting abundance, promoting reproductive health, protecting against malevolent influences, and ensuring the prosperity of the harvest.
