  • Desch Milo
    Lotto 97

Desch Milo, How does a volume emerge from a flat surface while minimising the industrial shaping and assembly processes specific to the material used? The sheet metal emerges as a chair thanks to 3 folds and welds. Designed as a totem, this single-material seat plays with the intrinsic qualities of stainless steel. In its most raw form, its volu- metry reveals itself between taut straight lines and flat surfaces. With its simple and elegant comfort, this chair with its primitive aspects is blued. This finishing process, used to embellish the screws of fine watchmaking, is used here on a different scale. scale. The organic gradations follow the mechanical lines of the seat, creating a complex dialogue of colour, detail and form. -- Unique Shipped from France Item liable to VAT Largh. 48 - Prof. 40 - Alt. 78 Cm 2021

  • Müsing-Sellés
    Lotto 98

Müsing-Sellés, Set no. 6 reconsiders the roles materials play in the domestic environment, plac- ing the hard and the soft in new arrange- ments and orientations. As users, materials provide cues for our interactions; softly rounded forms imply suppleness and give, while stone and glass present a stability and weight. Set no. 6 sets out to reframe typical notions of where hard and soft go, how they behave, and how they come into contact. The table is comprised of three stacked elements. Two sausages hug one another on the ground, stabilized by the curved glass panel resting on top. Set no. 6 was presented at Salone Satellite for Milan Design Week 2019. -- unique Shipped from Spain Item liable to VAT Largh. 156 - Prof. 90 - Alt. 41 Cm 2019

  • Carbonel Nacho
    Lotto 99

Carbonel Nacho, “It all started in 2013 when Andrea Galimberti asked me if I wanted to explore for NODUS the creative borders of the rug, considered as a work of art. I took the challenge up and I decided to exploit metal wires for I conceived my rugs as sculptures and metals are noble materials commonly used by sculptors. Many attempts have been made before achieving the desired results, also because each metal reacts differently to the treatments. Each material speaks its own language and has its own life. They kind of express themselves. Even metals are mutable, they move in their own way. In a way “The secret life of metals” are a paleontological proof of the evolutionary life of rugs. They are like the fossils of those ones that once were rugs.” -- Unique Shipped from Italy Item liable to VAT Largh. 150 Cm 2016

  • Debs Nada
    Lotto 100

Debs Nada, A synergy between the organic markings of nature and the rational lines of geometry, the Carapace tables play with exaggerated cel- lular patterns through the craft of marquetry whereby subtle shifts in wood veneers emphasize the shell- like patterns. The grey tones of the shifted oak veneers envelope the rounded edges of the table, a chal- lenge for the craftsman to attain. For the CTMP auction, the pattern is further emphasized using black and white marquetry strips that add another layer of pattern to the intri- cate piece. -- Unique Shipped from Italy Item liable to VAT Largh. 120 - Prof. 120 - Alt. 72 Cm 2021

  • Objects of Common Interest
    Lotto 108

Objects of Common Interest, Relief is one of the 10 worlds created by Object of Common Interest for the digital exhibition COME BACK TOMORROW, created for the curatorial platform PERFETTOOO! It is a project that instinctively explores emotional imagery from the designers’ archetypal vocabulary, and produces a creative act tapping into emotional investigation and intuitive perception. In COME BACK TOMORROW the colors, the screen brightness and the soundtrack change according to the selection of one of three dif- ferent variables and a number of key words that you are asked to choose, expressing your given mood, and that would finally define your own visit experience. Driven by an investigative approach, Objects of Common Interest focuses on feelings as a powerful involuntary force of human behaviors. Relief is one of these key words and one of the words of the exhibition. It will be sold as NFT (Non-Fungible Token). The exhibition and the piece have been created with the cooperation of LLOS& and Konstantinos Koudounis. -- NFT Unique Item liable to VAT 2021

  • Quevedo Raquel
    Lotto 114

Quevedo Raquel, "Souvenir from Southern Crater, Mars” emphasises the impact of digital technologies on the process of creating them as well as their sub- sequent perception and anchoring in memory. This process uses fictional associations and fantasy, using a physical-virtual disconnect in pro- cesses and forms. Under the layer of materiality, questions arise about the transience of nature on the journey that unites the concepts of fiction vs. reality, virtuality vs. physicality, true vs. false, intuition vs. facts, designer vs. artist, individual vs. community. With an aesthetic of science fiction and horror vacui, the work seem to emerge from a neighboring planet. The artwork circumscribes the viewer in a laboratory simulation, in a specu- lative environment, to the ideas and/ or related concepts of matter, organ- isms, science, that which is natural, nature, ecosystems, landscapes, ter- ritories, energy, subsistence, extrac- tion, data, assets, thereby allowing new narratives in light of the interpel- lation of that which is human, objec- tual and natural in the current social and cultural context. "Souvenir from Southern Crater, Mars” moves between the modified (ar:ficial/technological) and the orig- inal (real/cul:vated) to confuse, mix and re-situate the habitual mecha- nisms of observa:on, representa:on and appearance. Quevedo combine vivid colors with surrealis:c textures, mixing digital and physical codes with gesture in an intriguing affirma:on of life’s synergies. -- Unique Shipped from Spain Item liable to VAT Largh. 95 - Prof. 83 - Alt. 150 Cm 2019

Taillet Sophia, «Rise From the Abyss» is a series of blown glass pieces. In the process of researching the con- frontation between molten glass and rock. This project is part of an ongoing artistic process that involves the use of raw or ganic elements as a trigger for a new form of expression. An accumulation of rocks overlapped in a aleatory manner is used as a mold for the molten glass. In a search for purity and sensitivity, the glass freely takes shape in contact with the stones and slowly takes its imprint. Only a fragment of the stone mold remains in the final piece as a witness of this meet- ing be tween these two elements. The shapes of the molten glass freely unfold in the space beyond the hand of the craftsman and the eye of the designer - Like a wild landscape: the material lives and evolves according to its environment. Studio HAK, Paw series is surreal looking furniture pieces inspired by toy figurines, cartoons and street art. The project began when the designer became fascinated by the blurred line that exists between art and design, lux- ury fashion and street fashion, high culture and sub culture. He therefore attempted to combine furniture with toys and figures to create the sculptural ‘paw’ furniture series. The designer uses an aluminum sand cas- ting tech- nique to capture the details of the objects textured sur- face, resulting in a very tactile appearance. The playful design inte- grates oversized paws, whether serving as the feet of the bench or clutching the glass surface of the side table. Kvasbø Torbjørn, Stack is a series of works on a monumental scale where the archetypal shape of the vessel is re-imagined in a spiral form. The vase, made up of many identical tubular elements, becomes a body, a three-dimensional torso with gestures and moods. "My process of working with clay offers a lot of resistance and reveals the forces over which I have no control - the unexpected elements of my inner being. My emotions and my feelings are physically conveyed in the artwork, and they become real expe- riences " (Torbjørn Kvasbø). Through this process of transferring mental and physical energy into the sculpture, Kvasbø keeps alive the centuries-old tradition of the artist as an alchemist. -- Unique Shipped from Italy Item liable to VAT Largh. 55 - Prof. 55 - Alt. 84 cm 2010

  • Cacciatori Ugo
    Lotto 138

Cacciatori Ugo, Born from a precise selection of the designer Ugo Cacciatori while researching new materials to state and transpose the aesthetical genius of the brand, the TEST lighting series is a new chapter of HENGE into the interpretation of the light. The generous table lamp TEST-ONE surprises since the first touch of its neck. The modern menhir take on a life of its own, expressing in full the dedicated mate- rials: the sand polished Ice Onyx becomes white as a moon, the stone turns from sculptural opalescence to bright brutalism; mysterious as a dying star when the nucleus of the Rapolano Travertine shines through its natural cavities and the open shape resulting from the peculiar undercut crafting. -- Edition of 20 Shipped from Italy Item liable to VAT Largh. 18 - Prof. 15 - Alt. 71 Cm 2021

  • Cameranesi Valentina
    Lotto 140

Cameranesi Valentina, Product Description: How soft the stone can be? The idea was to create a vase with a strong aesthetic impact, researching the use of marble in the ancient Roman churches as well as the virtuosity of the tex- tiles and in the anatomical shapes of the classical sculptures. Far from the usual contemporary approach of perfection and geometrical cleaning, the “Avalon” vases present curve and complex shapes, with a for- mal ambiguity that need the ability of a sculptor to get as a result vases where the veining and chromatic variations, typical of the stones applied, moves and spreads out. The name of the vase is Clelia and this is a special version in total white onyx. -- Unique Shipped from Italy Item liable to VAT Largh. 24 - Alt. 31 Cm 2020
