Mancuso Andrea, Analogia Lamp is part of series of site-specific installations first presented during 2011 London design week at the invitation of Will Alsop for the collective exhibition A Few Friends. The Analogia installations ex- plores domestic interiors and everyday objects that take the form of a three-dimensional sketch rendered in wool. Cara / Davide, Archivio is a small table or bench con- structed from a single sheet of archived Verde Lapponia quartzite. The idea was to repurpose the archived material, trans- forming it into an object using few and simple technologies. Griffa Cesare, “Dr Oparin and Mr Haldane" is a piece unique com- posed of two specially coated Ops! chairs. The Ops! series (chairs and tables) are minimal furnitures made of different kinds of wood with different kinds of coat- ing designed in 2019, and developed during the pan- demics as limited series and unique pieces. This particular piece is manufactured in birch ply- wood and coated using a thick Cyanobacteria hue. Cyanobacteria are the first living organism that appeared on Earth 3.5 billion years ago. Oparin and Haldane were the scientists that in the early 1920s postulated the theory of the Primordial Soup.
