Lotto 38 Massimo Mattioli (1943-2019), Pinky – I Love You Baby, Cover study for the photojournalist rabbit, a lysergic pink rabbit always suspiciously high. Published unexpectedly, starting from 1973, on the pages of "Il Giornalino" of the Catholic San Paolo editions. Pencil on paper, 40x28 cm. Signed and dated 2003. Excellent condition. Cartoonist, illustrator and writer with an anarchic and surreal touch. In the late 1960s he was active in London and Paris; In 1977 he founded the alternative underground magazine “Cannibale” with Tamburini. For the magazine “Il Male" he created the character Joe Galaxy, whereas for “Frigidaire” he created "Squeak The Mouse".
