A nice portrait struck on a full and very large flan; brownish patina, about extremely fine.

Rare. An appealing detailed portrait struck on a very thick flan, untouched green patina., extremely fine / about extremely fine.

Septimius Severus (193-211), Tetradrachm, Laodicea ad Mare, AD 205-207; BI (g 12,47; mm 25; h 6); ΑΥΤ ΚΑΙ - CЄΟΥΗΡΟC CЄΒ, laureate, draped and cuirassed bust r., Rv. ΔΗΜΑΡΧ ЄΞ ΥΠΑΤΟ Γ, eagle standing facing, head and tail r., with wings spread; between legs, star. Prieur 1121.
Rare, lightly toned, extremely fine.

A gentle portrait of fine style, struck in high relief. Well centered specimen, good extremely fine. [From an old collection, bought from ancient auctions].

Very rare. An interesting and historically important reverse composition, extremely fine - good extremely fine. [Ex Hess Divo 327, October 2014, lot 188].
