Cosmogramma, uno dei 214 trasportati nello spazio dagli Astronauti della missione Apollo 11, che per prima permise ad un uomo di toccare il suolo lunare. La busta faceva parte del "Personal Preference Kit" di "Buzz" Aldrin, una piccola sacca in cui era permesso agli Astronauti di inserire degli effetti personali. Il documento, dopo aver viaggiato nello spazio per 8 giorni, rientrò sulla Terra e subì, come attestato dal timbro su tre linee apposto presso il "Lunar receiving laboratory" a Houston in Texas, la stessa procedura di quarantena a cui vennero sottoposti gli Astronauti. Al termine del periodo di quarantena, durato 21 giorni, l'11 agosto la busta venne annullata dall'ufficio postale di Webster in Texas, e firmato dai tre astronauti facenti parte della missione: Neil Armstrong (primo uomo sulla Luna), Michael Collins e Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. Dicitura manoscritta in alto "A-72 carried to the Moon on Apollo 11".

Eccezionale documento storico-filatelico, testimone di uno dei più importanti avvenimenti dell'umanità.

[UNITED STATES] 1969 (Aug. 11)
Cosmogram, one of the 214 carried into space by the astronauts of the Apollo 11 mission, which first allowed a man to set foot on the moon. The envelope was part of the "Personal Preference Kit" of "Buzz" Aldrin, a small bag in which the astronauts were permitted to carry personal effects. The document, after traveling in space for eight days, returned to Earth and underwent, as evidenced by the stamp on three lines affixed at the "Lunar receiving laboratory" in Houston, Texas, the same quarantine procedure to which the astronauts were subjected. At the end of the quarantine period, which lasted 21 days, on August 11 the envelope was cancelled by the post office in Webster, Texas, and signed by the three astronauts that were part of the mission: Neil Armstrong (first man on the moon), Michael Collins and Edwin "Buzz" Aldrin. Handwritten Inscription at the top "A-72 Carried to the Moon on Apollo 11".

Exceptional historical document stamp, witness of one of the most important achievements of humanity.
